Dan Russo has been a lawyer in solano county for thirty years. He is a certified Criminal Law specialist and has been for 23 years. He has taught Criminal Law,Criminal Procedure,Criminal Trial Practice and Evidence at JFK University from 1983 to 2005. He was professor of the year in 2000.

Mr. Russo was President of the Solano county bar in 1985. He is currently on the state board of the State Bar for criminal specialization. He has tried almost two hundred jury trials(including numerous capital cases) and has testified as an expert in Solano, Napa, Lake, Alameda, Contra Costa and San Francisco counties. In february of last year Mr. Russo was plantiff's trial counsel in Brewster vs. Grummer et al which was the first time in california history defendant insurance lawyers were held personally liable for conspiring with an insurance company to defraud their insured.
